The Vega Bliss Cottage sits on the upper floor of the cottage block, which puts the Munnar valley at eye level rather than below you. At first light, the balcony holds the mist. By nine, the tea-estate ridgelines come clear: layer after layer, green dissolving into haze dissolving into blue.

It is the cottage most chosen by couples and honeymooners, and it is easy to see why. There is a particular quality to watching the Munnar morning arrive from a private balcony with someone beside you. The king bed with evening turndown, the gold curtains that catch the valley light, the grey sofa angled toward the view. Nothing feels accidental.

The 300 sq.ft interior carries through the same care: terracotta feature wall, arched mirror, dressing table with amber pendant light. The bathroom has a glass-enclosed rain shower, floating dark-wood vanity and backlit LED mirror. Warm beige tiles that recall the hill earth outside.

Housekeeping will arrange rose petals and fresh flowers on request. The restaurant can set a private candlelit dinner on the balcony with advance notice. Airport transfers from Cochin, Coimbatore or Kochi railway can be arranged when you book.
